Heaney clamps have curved, serrated jaws with teeth for secure clamping of pedicles in hysterectomy.
Process with the ratchet open. Do not use hemostatic forceps as needle holders or on hard objects, which spoils jaw alignment. Check that the jaws close evenly and the ratchet holds.
