Long forceps with oval, serrated jaws for holding swabs and removing polyps, used in gynaecology.
Process with the ratchet open. Do not use hemostatic forceps as needle holders or on hard objects, which spoils jaw alignment. Check that the jaws close evenly and the ratchet holds.
