Collin forceps have fenestrated jaws for holding tissue, used especially in gynaecology.
Design features
- Fenestrated jaws
- Box joint for durable jaw alignment
- Ratchet lock to hold the jaws closed
- Lengths 14 to 23 cm
Typical applications
- Gynaecology and general surgery
Care
Process with the ratchet open. Do not use hemostatic forceps as needle holders or on hard objects, which spoils jaw alignment. Check that the jaws close evenly and the ratchet holds.
