A trocar with cannula for puncturing a body cavity to drain fluid or gas.
Flush the lumen through after use with a cleaning brush or water jet, check it is clear, and dry inside before sterilising.

Instruments are supplied non-sterile. Before first use and after every use, clean, inspect and sterilise them in line with your facility’s validated reprocessing procedure. Rinse and dry immediately after use, avoid contact with saline and strong chlorine solutions, and store dry.
