Heymann scissors have angled blades on long shanks for cutting inside the nasal cavity while keeping the hand out of the line of sight.

Design features

  • Supercut grind: one blade has a very fine, keen edge for smooth, clean cuts
  • Dark ring handles identify the supercut range on the instrument tray
  • Angled (bayonet-style) shanks

Care

Use scissors only on the tissue or material they are designed for; cutting sutures, wire or dressings with dissecting scissors dulls the edges. Process with the blades open and check the joint for smooth action.
