Design features

• Tungsten carbide (TC) cutting inserts, harder than stainless steel, for a longer-lasting edge
• Gold-coloured ring handles identify the TC range on the instrument tray

Care

Use scissors only on the tissue or material they are designed for; cutting sutures, wire or dressings with dissecting scissors dulls the edges. Process with the blades open and check the joint for smooth action. TC inserts can be resharpened by a qualified service.
